Come and enjoy a variety of gardens in our historic riverside town. A well established and popular community event with gardens located mainly together for a gentle afternoon stroll.
A wonderful selection of gardens of all sizes and maturity. Most gardens are open on both days, some for one or the other due to prior commitments.
Includes large Community Nursery open both days 10.00am to 3.00pm with a Green Weekend event - Eco Fair on Saturday and talks, demos and activities on Sunday.
Some garden owners will provide refreshments and cakes. Look out for the green balloons. Children's butterfly trail available.
Proceeds Proceeds will mainly go to Godmanchester in Bloom projects.
Plant sales Plant sales available in the Community Nursery.
Cost £5.00 on the day, £4.00 in advance, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get tickets / programmes On the day from the car park by Godmanchester Town Hall; in advance from Thelma's Flowers or Godmanchester Community Nursery.
Directions / Parking Easy access from A1307 and A1198 via the A14 or A1 - 16 miles west of Cambridge and 20 miles south of Peterborough.
