Barlow Open Gardens
Barlow, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire Sunday 3rd July 2022 10.00am to 5.00pm
This is our 10th year of Open Gardens in the village, albeit two years had to be postponed due to Covid. The gardens in the village range from the smallest patch, to allotments, large rambling gardens, a beautiful old Hall, cottages gardens and a garden with an interesting woodland walk and river within it, and much more. This year we have some new gardens for you to enjoy.
The Art Room and garden will be open for visitors to look around and note any art and craft events of interest coming up later in the year.
Tea, coffee and home made cakes on sale at the Church. Dogs on leads are welcome.
We hope all visitors enjoy their visit as much this year as they did in past years, some returning every year.
Proceeds to St. Lawrence Church.
Plant sales Millthorpe Nursery will be on the Green selling plants and offering advice.
Cost £6.00 adults, accompanied under 12s free.
How to get event passports On the day from the main car park and selected gardens around the village; in advance from The Peacock at Barlow, The Tickled Trout, Hackney House Tea Rooms in the village.

Directions From M1 junction 29 to Chesterfield go through Newbold to the B6051 Barlow. Extra parking is available this year in the village. Car park spaces doubled this year and coaches welcome (please email to book in coaches).
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available - locations will be advised on the day.
