Come and spend a day in beautiful Billingshurst exploring our open spaces in the morning and then spend the afternoon exploring our delightful gardens.
This is our second year of Open Gardens and we have a wonderful selection of gardens for you to discover, eight of which are new this year.
Gardens range from small to large, some have been created with wildlife in mind, others are modern, some well-established. All have a unique character and are looking forward to welcoming you.
During the morning from 9.00am you can visit for free our public areas. The Doctors Surgery gardens which have been improved by Volunteers over several years, Station Road Gardens is a fabulous area manned by volunteers, even has its own orchard. Little Bean Café has a new green space to the rear. Weald School are opening their Reflection Garden and the Women’s hall will be open for you to explore and buy plants.
The Allotment Society will be opening their gates for the morning and they will be happy to answer any questions you have on allotment gardening - see our Facebook page for locations.
Make a day of it with a nice breakfast or lunch in the high street (cafes and pubs abound) or coffee and cake at the Unitarian Hall or Little Bean Cafe in the afternoon.
Proceeds Proceeds will go to Local Billingshurst Charities.
Cost £5.00 per adult, accompanied 16s and under free.
