Whittington is a small village on the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale, North Lancashire.
The village is linear in its design and as such the gardens to most properties are hidden from public view. What lies behind these properties is a display of diversity and beautiful landscaping and planting.
As part of our open gardens event, Whittington Hall will also be opening its gardens to visitors.
There will be a pop-up flute ensemble visiting the the gardens throughout the event and there will be a floral display in the historic Church of St. Michaels.

Proceeds Proceeds to North West Air Ambulance, and also Living Well - an organic kitchen garden and mental health recovery charity located in the grounds of Low Sizergh Farm, near Kendal.
Cost £5.00 adult, accompanied under 16s free. Includes access to Whittington Hall gardens.
How to get tickets / programmes Available on the day at the Village Hall.
Directions / Parking There will be staffed parking available on the day in the Village and a drop off point at the Village Hall for those with limited mobility. The Village Hall is located on Main Street which runs through the centre of the Village.
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available at this event.
