Charlton Village near Malmesbury in Wiltshire is delighted to be hosting a village community Open Gardens event.
Gardens range from traditional cottage garden planting, to larger modern and traditional gardens; walled gardens; small woodlands; fruit and vegetable gardens; water features and ponds; all within walking distance.
In addition, a short two minute drive away on the outskirts of the village there is a large meadow and trees relaxation and creativity garden. Parking is available there.
Charlton Cricket Club will be having a home match, and the listed 800+ year old village church St. John the Baptist will be open to visitors.
Tea and refreshments at the village hall.
No dogs please other than assistance dogs.
Proceeds Proceeds to the refurbishment and replacement of play equipment in the children’s play area at Charlton Village Hall playing field.
Cost £6.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get tickets / programmes On the day from the village hall; in advance, please pre-order from Charlton Village Hall (by email) and then validate at the Village Hall on the day.
Directions / Parking Parking available at Charlton Village Hall. No parking at Open gardens, except for limited parking at the meadow/trees garden on the edge of the village.
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available at this event.
