Barrington, Cambridgeshire Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June 2024 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Barrington is a lovely village with a number of thatched cottages surrounding the spacious and long village green, reputedly the second-longest in England.
A range of private, well-kept and interesting gardens are open to the public over the weekend, ranging from classic cottage gardens, stunning rose displays, wildflower meadows, and intricate architectural wonders, and even one that has an incredible wild swimming pond.
The gardens are scattered around the village with most open on both days, some for Sunday only. Spend a very pleasant summer's afternoon strolling around Barrington's spacious green as you visit the gardens.
Teas and cakes will be available on both days.
Proceeds Proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the ancient village church.
Cost £5.00 adults which covers both days, children free.

Number of gardens Approximately 20 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
Directions / Parking The village is about ten miles (16 km) south-west of Cambridge, between Haslingfield and Shepreth. Parking will be available at the village hall in the centre of the village and will be clearly signposted. Gardens will also be similarly signposted.
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available - locations will be advised on the day.
