Whether you are a keen gardener or simply curious to see behind the lichen covered walls and manicured hedges, Shere Open Gardens gives a glimpse into quintessential England.
Enjoy an afternoon strolling around gardens in full bloom. Visit sheltered courtyards displaying pots and containers and classic colourful cottage gardens festooned with roses, poppies and lupins in the heart of the village, to a selection of larger elegantly landscaped gardens with sculptured planting and verdant lawns, tranquil lakes and gurgling streams.
Proceeds Proceeds go to Phyllis Tuckwell, the village school and a selection of other village causes.
Cost £8.00 adults, £7.00 over 65s, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions / Parking Shere is between Dorking and Guildford in Surrey, just off the A25. Buses go to the centre of the village - routes 22, 25, and 32. Trains go to Gomshall, then it's a pleasant walk to Shere.
